Swiss performance running brand On teams up with Roger Federer to release ultra-limited edition vegan tennis shoe through online raffle

Released on the 17th Anniversary of his first Wimbledon win, Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer has collaborated with cult running brand, On, to create The ROGER Centre Court 0-Series, the company’s first tennis inspired sneaker.

Drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the Swiss mountains, the shoe was created with sustainability in mind and was made with vegan leather and reduced material consumption for a smaller environmental footprint.

The shoe has also been designed with for maximum performance and uses On’s award-winning technology to create a sneaker that’s light, agile and comfortable. The ROGER sneaker features a lightweight ‘CloudTec’ sole as well as the brand’s ‘Speedboard’ for agile movement. An ultra-soft sock-construction adds comfort and ventilation. >>

“I love working with the On team, using my knowledge of performance footwear and personal interest in fashion to contribute to product development,” said Federer. “I’m proud to be a part of the creation of THE ROGER, which is the most comfortable tennis-inspired sneaker you will ever wear.”

The shoes are “ultra-limited edition”, with 1,000 individually numbered pairs to be sold through an online raffle draw and in-store exclusively at Dover Street Market worldwide. Sign-ups for the draw began on 6 July, and featured an exclusive livestream with Federer and special guests discussing the shoe, tennis and his life.
