Kimi Antonelli wins Monaco Grand Prix 2026, completes F1 Grand Slam

Italian Formula 1 driver Kimi Antonelli became the youngest person to complete an F1 Grand Slam after winning the Monaco Grand Prix 2026

Kimi Antonelli Monaco Grand Prix2026 is proving to be quite a year for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team driver Kimi Antonelli, as on Sunday 7 June, he became the youngest driver to ever complete an F1 Grand Slam after he won the Monaco Grand Prix.

Kimi managed to earn pole position during qualifying, lead every lap in the race, had the fastest lap, and won the race, earning him a Grand Slam at just 19 years of age. He held off Scuderia Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, who finished second, throughout the race. Meanwhile, Red Bull’s Isack Hadjar filled out the final podium position.

Speaking about the win, Kimi Antonelli basked in the victory glow in Monaco, but maintained that the job is ‘still not finished’.

“The job’s not finished – it’s still a long season and we’ve got to keep pushing, keep raising the bar, and the goal is to keep performing like this,” he explained. “The team have done an incredible job – they’ve given us an incredible car, and I’ve got so much support from the team as well, and from my family. It’s a really good moment so far.”

Kimi was presented with his trophy in a Louis Vuitton trophy trunk, which was unveiled by the brand’s ambassador, Korean actress Hoyeon earlier in the day.

He leads Lewis Hamilton by 66 points, who is followed by Kimi’s fellow teammate George Russell.
