We are on the lookout for motivated and talented contributors who can work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while providing engaging, page-turning content for our discerning readers.

Due to the volume of applications and pitches we receive, we may not be able to reply personally to every email, however we will commit to reading and considering every idea.

We currently have the following vacancies available:

Full-time roles

Freelance writers & features pitches

We welcome features pitches for Tempus Magazine’s quarterly print editions, and generally work about three months ahead. Pitches should be sent to our Editor-in-Chief, Michelle Johnson via email at michelle@tempusmagazine.co.uk

Your pitch should include a clear subject line/headline, an overview of your story – with clearly defined angle/hook and why your approach is unique – whether imagery can be supplied (e.g. from individuals or PRs) and a link to your portfolio or previous work. We advise contributors take a look at recent issues before pitching, to ensure we have not run a similar piece already.

Please note: We do not offer paid commissions for review pitches.

Digital contributors

We currently have no vacancies for paid positions

If you have an exclusive news story, unexplored review idea or social media campaign that showcases your expertise, we want to hear from you. Please send pitches and your portfolio to our Editor-in-Chief, Michelle Johnson via email at michelle@tempusmagazine.co.uk

A knowledge of the industry is a must, as well as a willingness to collaborate with our team of editors and writers who will work with you to help you produce the best possible content. Writers who work with tempusmagazine.co.uk are also expected to pitch ideas and brainstorm new ways in which we can maximise our reach and influence across the luxury news sector.

Please note: We do not offer paid commissions for review pitches.

Work experience and internships

We are passionate about the future of magazine and online journalism and offer a range of full and part time placements designed for students and recent graduates throughout the year.

You will also receive one-to-one mentoring from our experienced editors, including workshopping sessions with our editor about any aspect of your career path.

Our previous interns have gone on to secure permanent roles and apprenticeships at major publishing houses, including Archant, the Telegraph Media Group and the Fintech Times.

Please note: We can only accept applications from journalists who are 18 years +. Priority will be afforded to trainee journalists or graduates of similar disciplines.
