Idyllic Malaysian island retreat Four Seasons Langkawi has unveiled an exciting new travel package offering guests an adventurous insight into the best of the country’s UNESCO sights. Aptly titled ‘the Culturally Curious Package’, and 'The Mangroves and Eagles Safari' it’s designed to celebrate the resort's close proximity to the UNESCO Geo Park while encouraging guests to explore as much of the island as possible.

Highlights of the plans include ventures through hidden caves, lush mangroves and abseiling and rock climbing the hotel’s private limestone cliffs – securing its position as an unmissable addition to every adrenaline junkie's bucket list.

Located within one of the world’s eight most picturesque destinations, the 'Culturally Curious Package' enables guests to explore the extraordinary UNESCO ancient rainforests, as well as the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park. Together with a dedicated team of Four Seasons naturalists, guests can also take part in the extraordinary 'Mangrove & Eagles Safari', join daily guided walks along the resort's 48-acre beachfront haven, take kayaks out into the mangroves, go bird watching, or even have a go at activities such as archery.

What's more, adrenaline junkies will be enthralled by an adventure along mangrove tributaries, into ancient rainforests, up limestone outcrops, and through hidden sea caves – an extraordinary insight into 550 million years of natural wonder with a Four Seasons naturalist as one's personal guide.

As well as touring the wonders which lay outside of the hotel, guests have the contrasting option of relaxing and unwinding inside the resort at its luxurious The Geo Spa at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi.  The opulent wellness space boasts the addition of nine Ayurvedic therapies and rituals, strengthening its unique 'elemental balance' ethos. Treatments on the menu range from well-known therapies such as Abhyanga and Shirodhara to experiences exclusive to the spa, including Voyage of the Mind and Spine Strengthening – treatments which effectively realign mind, body and spirits and advocate greater balance with the natural elements that reside around us all.

“More and more, we are coming to understand that a life well lived is one lived in balance, and that it is through harmony – within ourselves and with the wider world – that we achieve optimum health,” said spa & wellness director Dr. Kannan Nettath, the resort's spa & wellness director said. “The decision to weave Ayurveda into The Geo Spa’s elemental balance concept was an intuitive, natural extension of our offering and expertise.

“The Geo Spa has always drawn on the energies of the surrounding 550million-year-old Geo Park, which is also what makes Ayurveda in Langkawi so incredible – the ability to tap into an abundant, age-old source of grounding, balancing nature.”
