Famed hotel designer Bill Bensley opens daring Four Seasons Residence Koh Samui

Luxury Thailand hotel Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui has launched an opulent Owner’s Residence, a luxury private villa – combining the world-class hospitality of a Four Seasons Hotel with the peace and quiet of a private luxury villa. Famed landscape architect hotel designer Bill Bensley – who has also designed iconic sustainable hotels Our Twin Peaks and JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay: Lamarck University in the country – was behind the decor of helmed the new venture, injecting a mix of southern-style furnishings, tropical rosewood highlights and custom-made artwork.

Nestled upon one of the highest vantage points of the resort, the collection of 11 private luxury residences, range in size between one to five bedrooms and enable unrivalled views of the surrounding islands and crystalline ocean. The new villas also feature four spacious bedrooms and a private infinity-edge plunge pools for a dip to the backdrop of panoramic views of this beautiful island. Taking care of guests’ every need will be a personal private chef and live-in attendant, while a private yacht and chauffeured limousine are on hand to take care of transport for the duration of the stay.

If thats not enough, the resort's luxury yacht, Minor Affair, is also available to guests seeking a slice of fun and adventure with space for up to 12 people and structured trips including ocean, before enjoying a sunset barbeque in a secluded bay. A wide
range of sports such as volleyball, soccer, kayaking and paddle boarding are also available. 

As part of the Four Seasons Owner’s Residence package, guests can also take private tennis lessons on the two turf courts or book a personal training session with the on-site private fitness instructor. In contrast, those looking to indulge in R & R will be delighted by the menu of in-villa spa experiences that can be enjoyed from the privacy of their villa, on the beach or at the resort's sumptuous Secret Garden Spa. In the way of dining, guests can tuck into a myriad of options – from refined Thai cuisine to a private barbeque dinner of grilled meats and gourmet salads, in the villa’s open-air dining pavilion over a sophisticated Japanese-style sunken table.
