Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve to offer ‘Fly-In Break’ from London
By Tempus | 2 December 2022 | Travel
Want to finish dinner in London and have lunch while watching elephants in South Africa? Sabi Sabi has you covered…
"Half the stress of travel is the journey, in terms of choosing flights which maximise time on the ground and make for a smooth experience."
So says South Africa's Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve in its justification for the launch of a unique new scheme that pushes travel to the limits of efficiency. The park, located in the Sabie Game Reserve in Greater Kruger National Park, is world-renowned for its exemplary safari experience, luxury accommodation and the warmest of South African hospitality, but has now upped its game even further by offering what it calls a "Fly In Break".
Now, rather than waiting around at Johannesburg Airport for a connection, guests leaving London after dinner on a flight to Johannesburg will be able to take a perfectly timed shuttle hop to the Sabi Sabi reserve's private airstrip, just in time for lunch.
Two shuttle flights a day depart on an almost door-to-door service. Taking only one hour, guests can fly in above the seemingly never-ending Bushveld where the wildlife-spotting may begin from the plane window. Land at Sabi Sabi’s private airstrip with its very own terminal building to the warm welcome of the Sabi Sabi team, enabling guests to start the safari experience immediately.
