September is unofficially yacht show season, with fortunate patrons and owners entering into a hedonistic schedule of socialising, champagne and superyachts. Flocking to Monaco as part of the circuit (23 – 26 September), the influx of international visitors catapults the already luxurious principality into a whirlwind of scented air kisses and lavish catch ups.
And no wonder because, during Monaco Yacht Show, the designs showcased at Port Hercules are unrivalled. Designers debut highly anticipated unseen vessels, elegant refits and considered resales to captivated crowds. Whether seeking classic looks or contemporary designs, under the cockpit cutting-edge tech propels each fine-tuned floating dominion. 55m Pa’lante, H19 (Quai L’Hirondelle)
Heesen’s latest 55-metre Steel Series yacht, Pa’lante, makes its debut at Monaco Yacht Show. With the Steel Series conceived to offer a more understated aesthetic for modern owners, Pa’lante embodies this desire with simplicity and discipline. Omega Architects give her a sleek exterior, contrasting with Luca Dini’s warm and textured interior palette. The spacious owner’s suite, opening onto a private veranda, is emblematic of the overall approach: sophisticated and intentional. Throughout the vessel, which includes six cabins for twelve guests, the atmosphere is one of deliberate understatement, representative of its new owner’s lifestyle and tastes. 
37.4m Lollipop, S17 (Appontement Jules Soccal)
Lollilpop, Dutch shipbuilder Moonen’s 37.4-metre Martinique, makes her world debut at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show. Playful and powerful, her bespoke Vripack interior leans into the owner’s personal whimsy, awash with celebratory candy-inspired décor, including a cocktail bar embedded in lollipops and sweets beneath a transparent countertop. Crafted by Diana Yacht Design’s naval architecture with exterior styling by René van der Velden, she carriers familiar hallmarks of Moonen’s 122 Martinique series, with its transatlantic range and discreet engineering. Despite the contrasting design briefs, the effect is surprisingly coherent, an atmosphere shaped by individuality, where practicality and customisation coexist without compromise. Proof once again, if ever it were needed, that superyachts can be powerful yet playful, shaped by the idiosyncrasies of the people who inhabit them.
74m Synthesis Show location: tbc
At 74 metres, the sense of space on Synthesis is unsurprising. The cultivated understatement, created by Tim Heywood’s exterior lines and Winch Design’s interiors, perhaps more so. Despite its scale, the restraint shown turns familiar fixtures — from the infinity pool and wellness deck, to the helipad-cum-outdoor cinema — into soft, light-filled domestic spaces, attuned to modern living. Even the expansive owner’s deck, with its forward cabin and private jacuzzi, is relaxed and enticing. Built by Dutch shipyard in Amels in 2021, its extensive 2026 refit and seamless indoor-outdoor layout has brought to life a vessel for modern living, offering a contemporary blend of architecture, ambiance and comfort.
