Boot Düsseldorf, Germany’s annual exhibition showcasing luxury yachts and sailing boats from around the globe, has officially begun and one brand seizing the chance to exhibit its newest launches is Princess Yachts. Following in the footsteps of their recently launched V40, the brand unveils an exciting addition to its superyacht V Class portfolio, the V50, alongside the all-new S78 and V65 models.

Featuring a striking exterior styling, the V50 has port light windows which cascade the length of her deep-V hull, flooding the saloon and cabins with selfie-enhancing natural light. Finished in metallic and graphite grey synonymous with this range, the cockpit is home to a wet bar, canopy and spider structure. The lower deck saloon can be used as an entertaining space or provides the option to convert to a double berth offering flexibility. The full beam master stateroom is an inviting sanctuary while the forward cabin offers the second option of scissor berths. >>

Princess’ second yacht unveiled this week at Boot Düsseldorf is the S78, which utilises the same design ethos as smaller counterparts the S72, S65 and S60, with an overall upgrade, of course. Dubbed ‘the ultimate yacht for entertaining’, the vessel boasts modular seating and galley-aft arrangement to create the perfect space for hosting al fresco – the sound system and NAIM Audio acoustics further add to this. The foredeck area also features innovative seating with sun pads which can be converted to create additional aft-facing seats. But the luxury doesn’t stop above deck – below are en-suite cabins, with a further twin available to host guests or crew members.

The S78 hull is optimised for greater lift and less drag, leading to lower planing speeds and greater efficiency. Something for speed junkies to note – the S78 will reach speeds up to a maximum of 39 knots. Last but certainly not least, Princess Yachts presents the V65 – highlights of which include its spacious cockpit, incredible sun pad and inviting dining area. The flexible deck saloon model can be both climate controlled or opened to the elements thanks to sliding doors and a retractable sunroof. Below deck are four modern ensuite cabins to accommodate eight guests. This adrenalin-fuelling sports yacht can also reach speeds up to an impressive 38 knots.
