Bringing together art, creation and wine-making, the Dom Pérignon x Damien Hirst collaboration is inspired by the artist’s Kaleidoscope series
For nearly three decades, Dom Pérignon has collaborated with artists and creators from among the most radical of contemporary sensibilities. From Andy Warhol, Takashi Murakami and Karl Lagerfeld to David Lynch, Lenny Kravitz and Lady Gaga – each artist brings their own perspective to the brand’s ongoing conversation between art, craftsmanship and reinvention. Now, Dom Pérignon has collaborated with celebrated British artist Damien Hirst on a limited edition that is inspired by Hirst’s Kaleidoscope series.
The kaleidoscope is a recurring motif in Damien Hirst’s work. It is a device that embodies an idea of harmony created by transformation and repetition. It is on this conceptual principle of assemblage that the dialogue with Dom Pérignon was founded. As Damien Hirst uses the kaleidoscope to find harmony between stillness and movement, Dom Pérignon finds harmony by assembling grapes of each vintage.
The collaboration sees Damien Hirst reimagine Dom Pérignon’s shield as a contemporary emblem and celebrates two distinctive Dom Pérignon vintages: Vintage 2018 and Rosé Vintage 2010.
The two Dom Pérignon vintages are defined by their two chromatic tonalities: a deep blue, symbol of infinity and spirituality for the Dom Pérignon Vintage 2018 and a warm and gentle pink to evoke the expression of pinot noir in the Rosé Vintage 2010.
Damien Hirst’s work defined the visual language of the 90s and challenged established ideas around the relationship between art and popular culture. His collaboration with Dom Pérignon offers a timely lens through which to revisit that legacy and explore why the 1990s continue to resonate in 2026. And with the Tate’s upcoming The 90s: Art and Fashion exhibition set to open very soon, the collaboration couldn’t have arrived at a more opportune time.
The limited edition Dom Pérignon x Damien Hirst Vintage 2018 and Vintage 2010 collaboration is now available to buy at Selfridges.
