Frieze London is back, celebrating the best of art and culture at London’s Regent’s Park from 14 to 18 October. From the most exciting contemporary artists to historic pieces at Frieze Masters, this year’s fair sees ground-breaking designs as well as curated sections and ambitious presentations from 280 galleries representing 45 countries. You can also find Tiffany & Co’s Artist-to-Artist initiative, which gives emerging artists a platform to showcase their work as well as Ruinart’s Conversations with Nature exhibit, which will have artist Tadashi Kawamata exhibiting his art at the Ruinart Art Bar. MiMi Mei Fair is turning five, and to celebrate, the restaurant has unveiled a Duck Feast menu – a limited edition menu running till the end of October that pays tribute to its signature apple wood-fire roasted peking duck. The feast begins with duck xiao long bao, filled with duck broth, alongside a crispy spring roll of handpulled duck. At the heart of the menu is the peking duck, carved and served with homemade pancakes. From there, guests move on to ember duck confit with shiitake mushrooms, pearl onion, chilli and ginger, accompanied by garlic baby pak choi and olive fried rice with olive leaves, black olives and asparagus – which, we can confirm, is downright delicious. The experience concludes with a golden crème brûlée, made with duck egg and Madagascar vanilla bean. Trust us, you do not want to miss this.
