Princess Yachts’ new film takes us behind the scenes of a life at sea
Plymouth superyacht manufacturer Princess Yachts has taken us behind the scenes of their award-winning M Class range with a new film taking a tour of the 35M superyacht. The film, directed by Robert Davies and filmed by cinematogrpher Nick Brown, follows a family and crew around a day in the life onboard the ship, using a mixture of traditional cameras, underwater and drone footage to capture life at sea.
Beginning in the yacht's spacious lounge area, the film follows crew members about their duties, weaving seamlessly between the warmly outfitted interior living spaces and the exterior decking – including the al fresco dining areas in the upper deck. The family's daughter shows off her diving skills from the yacht's unique hydraulic swimming platform in the aft, while the camera also provides a sneak peek into the bridge and engine room of the boat. Evening shots show the versatility and range of the yacht's sleeping quarter, as well as living and bar areas where adult guests can unwind.

The 35M Antheya III debuted at Cannes Yachting Festival in 2015, winning a Boat International World Superyacht Award in 2016. A spokesperson from Boat International then said: “The judges particularly admired her exterior design, which incorporated a variety of functional areas in which to relax and dine, as well as her contemporary yet ageless interior. Additionally, the judges found a high quality of construction and excellent technical, service and crew areas. A well balanced yacht indeed.”
The four-deck 35M is fully customisable, with three engine options that can take it up to 27 knots and plenty of interior choices to be made. Able to accomodate eight to 10 guests and five crew, optional balconies on the main deck, and a flexible flybridge that can be fitted with various spa, seating, sunbathing and dining options.
