Italian watchmaker announces limited edition Luminor Chrono Flyback models
Iconic Italian watch manufacturer Panerai has added two stunning new models to its Chrono Complicazioni collection, a watch family characterised by a combination of high-tech materials, complex calibers and small quantities.
The two models – the Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica and the Luminor Chrono Flyback Verde Militare – are lightweight, versatile and stylish, hinting at Panerai's history as a partner watch manufacturer of the Italian military.
Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica is defined by a monochromatic black matte 44mm ceramic case, which is light, highly scratch-resistant and retains its tactile surface and deep, saturated color. The dial, meanwhile, features the same inky-black hue.
The matte Verde Militare dial together with the polished steel case are the highlights of the Luminor Chrono Flyback Verde Militare. Numerals and hour markers in white Super-LumiNova that glow green in the dark and central chronograph second- and minute-hands in orange optimize the watches with contrasting details that support the sports functions.
Both watches are fitted with a P.9100 movement, an automatic caliber with a power reserve of three days,
The watches will be available in extremely limited numbers. The Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica will be limited to only 500 pieces, while the Luminor Chrono Flyback Verde Militare is an e-commerce exclusive, available only on Panerai.com, with a millesimation of only 110 pieces.
