Boodles partners with Bentley Motors to create brand new luxury car

The two oldest names in British luxury have collaborated to create a new Boodles branded Bentley car

Boodles BentleyTwo of the oldest and most prestigious names in British luxury craftsmanship and design — Boodles and Bentley Motors — have collaborated to create a brand new, one of a kind, luxury car by releasing a new version of Bentley’s Continental GT Convertible called Boodles Bentley.

This is the result of a collaboration between creatives at Boodles and Mulliner’s design team, who devised a specification featuring a striking colour palette, rare materials, and intricate craft details. The idea behind the creation was that the car would evoke the feeling of opening a jewellery box as the owner entered it. For this reason, Bentley’s Continental GT Convertible was chosen for this collaboration. Bentley insideThe car is based around the colour spectrum from anthracite to linen and Boodles’ signature powder pink. The car includes a one-off ‘Be Boodles Bentley’ diamond motif set in white gold, natural stone veneer and the ‘Be Boodles’ blind stitch embroidery.

There is also a handcrafted ‘Be Boodles Bentley’ pendant that has been set into the centre console. It features a mirrored pair of diamond-set ‘B’ emblems created in 18 carat single mine origin white gold set to imitate the curving lines of antique lace.

One of the many modifications is the exterior of the car, which features an anthracite finish with a light grey fabric roof. The wheels are painted in tungsten with a polished finish, with brake callipers in gloss black. The car also features a powder pink pinstripe as a nod to Boodles that traces a line around the edge of the styling specification front spoiler, sills and rear spoiler. A ‘Boodles 1798’ exterior badge is also featured on the front fender on either side. When you open the door, a welcome lamp projects the Boodles brand logo.

Speaking of the collaboration, president of Boodles Nicholas Wainwright expressed his delight at working with Bentley.

“We are thrilled that our two great British companies have collaborated to make a special Boodles branded Bentley car. An individual exciting and unique One of One Bentley which Boodles will unveil in April at Jack Barclay showroom,” he said.
