Panerai unveils the new Luminor Marina PAM01707

The Panerai Luminor Marina PAM01707 marries the brand’s 1960s visual codes with new high tech material designed for lightness, resistance and durability

Panerai Luminor MarinaPanerai has launched the new Luminor Marina PAM01707. Featuring classic Panerai design codes from the 1960s like the sandwich dial, protective crown bridge and luminous numerals, this watch is paired with a modern 44mm carbotech case – a material known for its lightness, resistance, and distinctive appearance.

The 44mm case frames a black dial where beige super-luminova technology (that glows green in the dark) ensures legibility alongside a precise small seconds display, with the vintage aesthetic completed with a vintage calf leather strap. The watch also comes with a second black rubber strap, allowing it to shift to a sportier configuration suited to marine environments and active use.

The resulting carbotech plates offer comfort on the wrist while maintaining remarkable mechanical properties and superior corrosion resistance, making it optimal for underwater conditions.

The watch is equipped with the P.9010 automatic calibre, which is conceived to support everyday reliability, practicality, and autonomy. The watch is also water resistant up to 300m, embodying the brand’s dedication to enhanced water resistance – a legacy dating back to Panerai’s origins as a supplier of diving instruments for the Italian Navy.
