The Cotswolds plays host to a quintessentially English rally
Petroleum & Co launch the first ever Cars and Clays rally in association with Tempus
If you have a penchant for classic cars, verdant countryside and sophisticated outdoor pursuits, and can't wait to be swept away by a cross-country car rally or the shooting season's most exclusive events, then Petroleum & Co has got the summer event that will ignite your season on 24 June.
Automotive cinema company Petroleum & Co is launching its first ever Cars & Clays day rally, which is inviting classic car owners to navigate a picturesque route in the Cotswolds while stopping at points of interest along the way. Beginning at 10am at The Stratton Audley Barn in Oxfordshire, participants will head to Mather Collectable Motorcars, before taking the scenic route to boutique Barnsley House Hotel for a three-course lunch.
The event is held in association with Blink Automotive Events, Tempus and the Cotswold Clay Company. The latter will also host an afternoon of clay pigeon shooting for guests in a woodland setting just offsite of Barnsley House Hotel, offering a challenging and exciting course of targets for even the most experienced shot. >>
It is an exciting new style of event for hosts Petroleum & Co, a production company that works alongside specialist car dealers and private clients to showcase sensational classic and collectable motorcars by way of creative emotive and engaging cinematography.
The company's recent short films, created for events including the Classic Car Show as well as private collectors and sellers, include a showcase of an exceptional quality 1959 Aston Martin DBR4 Grand Prix car, in which the team's attempt to put together a photoshoot for the car is crashed by a caretaker, who absconds with the Aston Martin for a spin around a nearby track.
