Rolls-Royce has announced the Spectre Series II, which has more power, more range and sophisticated elegance
Rolls-Royce has unveiled its latest motor car – the Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II – which includes a host of technical and creative enhancements, four years after the first Rolls-Royce Spectre, which was the marque’s first EV car, hit the streets.
The new Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II now has up to 18% more range (390 total miles), more power, a 14% reduction in charging times and more customisations than ever before. With a new expanded palette of crafted elements, materials, finishes and design options, including over 50 thread colors and fabric shades, the marque meets its discerning customers’ increasing desire for highly ambitious and expressive commissions.
The Spectre Series II’s exterior is largely unchanged, save for the addition of a new ‘ethereal blue’ exterior finish to highlight its lines. Meanwhile, the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre Series II is the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever created, with up to 670 horsepower and 811 foot-pounds of torque. The car has an iced black exterior detailing that gives the car a satin-like matte finish.

Speaking about the new launch, Chris Brownridge, chief executive of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars spoke about how the new Spectre Series II is a ‘landmark’ car for the marque.
“Spectre is a landmark motor car for Rolls-Royce – conceived by our engineers, designers and craftspeople, informed by our clients and acclaimed the world over. It amplifies the qualities our clients value most: silence, effortlessness and abundant power, confirming that Rolls-Royce is perfectly suited to electrification,” he said.
“This motor car’s extraordinary reception around the world has also established Spectre as one of the most compelling canvases for bespoke in our contemporary product portfolio, inspiring clients to pursue ever more individual and ambitious commissions.

“With Spectre Series II, we extend those possibilities even further. This refinement of a modern masterpiece is made in the spirit of our co-founder, Sir Henry Royce, who said: ‘Small things make perfection, but perfection is no small thing’,” he added.
Domagoj Dukec, director of design at Rolls-Royce provided more details on the design process, saying: “Spectre has consistently been recognised as one of the most elegant automotive forms of the modern era. In expanding the palette of materials and crafts introduced for Spectre Series II, we respond directly to our clients’ desire to approach Spectre with even more creative ambition, as they explore its possibilities as a canvas on which to tell their story.”
