RH has announced a first-of-its-kind global design collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, bringing high end design to Formula 1
RH, the luxury American home furnishings brand, is bringing its blend of design and luxury to Formula 1 as it unveils a first-of-its-kind global design collaboration with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team.
In a multi year partnership beginning in late 2026, RH, who recently opened their London flagship in Mayfair, will serve as the team’s global interior design and luxury furnishings curator, reimagining hospitality spaces across key races and destinations including Abu Dhabi, Miami, Monaco, and Silverstone, as well as the team’s UK headquarters. The collaboration extends RH’s distinctive point of view beyond the home, bringing a new dimension of design to Formula 1.
Over the Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2026 weekend, tastemakers and influencers from the worlds of sport, film, design, fashion, art, music, hospitality and business gathered at RH England, The Gallery at Aynho Park to celebrate the new collaboration.
In attendance were RH founder, chairman and chief executive officer Gary Friedman, alongside team principal of Mercedes’s Formula 1 team Toto Wolff and driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli. Also present were Daisy Edgar-Jones, Lucien Laviscount, Kaya Scodelario, Lady Amelia Spencer, Lady Eliza Spencer and Bianca Jagger.
Speaking of the collaboration, RH founder Gary Friedman highlighted the unique nature of the collaboration, blurring the lines between driving and design.
“Over the last two decades, we’ve learned that great partnerships have the power to accelerate growth, inspire innovation and elevate everything around them. Much of RH’s success has been built through connections to the world’s most talented designers, artisans and manufacturing partners – individuals and organizations that challenge conventional thinking and set the standard in their respective fields,” said Gary.
“The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team has established the benchmark for precision, innovation and performance, making this a natural collaboration between two organizations united by an unwavering commitment to excellence. Together, we have the opportunity to create immersive environments unlike anything experienced in sport, blurring the lines between driving and design,” he added.
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff echoed the above sentiments, adding that the team wants to create ‘exceptional environments and experiences’ for partners and fans at the races.
“Welcoming RH into our partner ecosystem is another example of our ambition to work with brands that lead in their respective fields. Their reputation for design excellence, quality and innovation aligns strongly with the values that drive our team. Together, we aim to create exceptional environments and experiences for our partners, guests and fans, ensuring they reflect the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team,” said Toto.
This collaboration marks a notable shift in how F1 teams approach guest experience, moving beyond traditional hospitality into fully immersive, design-led environments that blur the lines between home, hospitality, and sport. RH’s first designed spaces will debut at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix later this year, and in other key racing destinations moving forward.
