Piaget announces new Limelight Gala watch creations
By Shivani Dubey | 25 February 2025 | Design
The Limelight Gala serves as a tribute to the artistry of Piaget. This season, the luxury watch brand has released two creations to add to the collection
For more than half a century, the Limelight Gala has served as a celebration and symbol of the artistry of Piaget. The collection’s signature features include sensual curves, asymmetrical lugs, and a harmonious fusion of gemstones and precious metals. Now, Piaget has released two new creations to add to the collection.
Since its inception in 1973, the Limelight Gala — as it became known retrospectively — has seen hundreds of iterations, from one-of-a-kind pieces to core collection favourites, each one maintaining the distinctive identity of the original, while remaining versatile with its play on shapes.

They also feature a hand-engraved motif across the dial and bracelet and have a wavy effect pattern engraving.
The first watch is a showcase of gold framed by 42 brilliant white diamonds, while the second is the Mesmerizing Burgundy model that celebrates Piaget’s colour expertise. The intense ruby root shade is complemented by a carefully curated gradient of gemstones ranging from diamonds and pale pink sapphires through to deep red rubies.

Piaget has a rich horological history — with the brand recently celebrating its landmark 150th anniversary. These Limelight Gala watches represent the pinnacle of Piaget craftsmanship, offering a contemporary interpretation of five decades of history that reveal their secrets with each glance and wear.
