Watch brand IWC Schaffhausen is celebrating their 150th anniversary of luxury watch brand in enviable style, with a new 28-model limited edition Jubilee collection. The brand, which launched with the first ever Pallweber pocket watch in 1884, is unveiling their 28 timepieces at this year's Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) watch fair in Geneva, Switzerland.

The limited-edition collection includes new models from the brand's Portugieser, Portofino Pilot's Watch and Da Vinci families, as well as their first ever wristwatch to feature the original digital hours and minute display from the Pallweber pocket watch. To tie the collection together, each piece features an imprinted dial in white or blue, achieved by applying several layers of lacquer in the style of heritage enamelled finishes.

Among the striking collection is the brand's first pocket watch with digital hours and minutes display since the Pallweber was discontinued in 1890 – and the first pocket watch made by the Swiss watch manufacturer in this century. >>

* Then Da Vinci Automatic Moon Phase 36 Edition “150 Years” is part of the 28-model IWC Schaffhausen Jubilee collection

Limited to 50 pieces, the IWC Tribute to Pallweber Edition "150 Years" is housed in an 18-carat red gold case and suspended on an 18-carat red gold chain. The windows of the digital display are labelled 'Hours' and 'Minutes' in honour of F.A. Jones, IWC's founder, through which spring covered windows the time can be read even when the watch is closed. The watch features a 60-hour power reserve and 94200 calibre.

Another highlight of the collection comes from the two Da Vinci watches created for the Jubilee. The Da Vinci Automatic Edition “150 Years” with small seconds at six o'clock is the first watch to feature the new IWC-manufactured 82200 calibre, while the brand is also presenting a Da Vinci Automatic Moon Phase 36 Edition “150 Years”, detailed with 206 pure white diamonds totalling 2.26 carats.

The latter takes inspiration from IWC Schaffhausen's elaborate jewellery-style of watch cultivated in the 1980s and 1990s. 50 are available each in 18-carat white or red gold, both with white dial with lacquered finish and blued hands, featuring a moon phrase display at 12 o'clock.
