Arguably the most prestigious ceremony in the world of fine and rare wine, October will see the triumphant return of the Golden Vines® Awards, celebrating the brightest and best wines the industry has to offer during a lavish event in the Italian city of Florence.
Voted for by leading members of the fine wine industry in The Gérard Basset Global Fine Wine Report, the event attracts winemakers and oenologists from across the globe, who this year will descend on the Tuscan city for a three-day experience of wine, including a black-tie dinner featuring Michelin-star food… and this year Tempus readers can get involved too!
Through a special partnership between Tempus Magazine and the organisers of the event, our readers can partake in the action with a ticket to the Golden VinesⓇ Fine Wine Lovers 3-Day Experience, due to take place from 15-17 October 2022.

Saturday 15 October:
• VIP event: Masterclasses at Palazzo Capponi hosted by Gabriele Gorelli MW, Vincent Chaperon (Dom Pérignon Chef de Cave). Renaud Fillioux de Gironde (Hennessy Cellar Master) & Baptiste Loiseau ( Louis XIII Cellar Master)
• ‘Dress to Party’ Gala Dinner with chefs Davide Oldani (D’O, 2-Michelin Star) and Matteo Lorenzini (Osteria di Passignano, 1-Michelin Star) and performance by Alessandro Ristori & the Portofinos
Sunday 16 October:
• Black Tie Awards Ceremony & Closing Gala Dinner at Palazzo Vecchio Salone dei Cinquecento with 3 Michelin star chef, Massimo Bottura and his team from Osteria Francescana and wines from the world’s finest estates
Monday 17 October:
• VIP event: Tour, tasting & lunch at Antinori Chianti Classico Winery in Barginio
• VIP event: Tour in the Museo Salvatore Ferragamo followed by lunch in the historic Salvatore Ferragamo boardroom at the Palazzo Spini Feroni
• VIP event: VIP Tour of the Palazzo Vecchio hosted by Dario Nardello, the Mayor of Florence
Price:
• VIP Tickets: £10,000 for the 3-day programme – guaranteeing the best seats at both Gala Dinners and first choice access to the VIP events

Organised by Liquid Icons, all monies raised from the associated auctions will go to The Gérard Basset Foundation to fund diversity and inclusivity in wine education programmes globally including The Taylor’s Port Golden Vines® Diversity Scholarships.
