This New Year’s Eve, Kioku by Endo, the gorgeous rooftop restaurant at The OWO will be serving up a set menu with roaming entertainment to brighten up the atmosphere. Enjoy impeccable fine dining with a view, as guests coming in past 7:30pm will have direct access to the Kioku Terrace with views across the city. The menu echoes points of Michelin-star chef Endo Kazutoshi’s life that have shaped his culinary journey. Alain Ducasse, the three Michelin starred restaurant nestled inside The Dorchester is a wonderful place to spend New Year’s Eve if you’d like to celebrate with incomparable French cuisine. The jewel of the restaurant is the stunning ‘Table Lumière’, a semi-private room surrounded by 4500 shimmering fibre optics dropping dramatically from the ceiling, and adorned with specially selected sets of Hermès china, Puiforcat silverware and Saint-Louis crystal for a bespoke table setting. From 4pm to 7pm on 31 December, Fitzorivia’s two Michelin-starred Kitchen Table will open its lounge to those looking to kick-off their New Year’s celebrations a little earlier with champagne and fried chicken. Tickets include half a bottle of Grower champagne paired with chef James Knappett’s signature fried chicken with bacon jam and jalapeno mascarpone, and a side of tater tots. Guests can order extra dishes on the day, such as a truffle honey baked Vacherin and white truffle ice cream — alongside an extensive list of Grower Champagnes, which will be available to drink or takeaway for a midnight toast. This New Year’s Eve, Roka Mayfair is collaborating with Casamigos, offering a bespoke cocktail menu crafted exclusively, along with a unique New Year’s Eve dish. The restaurant will be decorated for the occasion, and from 9pm, a live DJ will set the mood for a night of celebration. At their restaurants in Aldwych, Canary Wharf and Charlotte Street, guests can choose from an a la carte or tasting menu, a Tokyo nights themed evening or a surf and turf NYE special, and an NYE themed a la carte or tasting menu respectively. Those looking to have a wonderful Christmas Day in a luxurious setting can head to Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO, the eponymous fine-dining restaurant from the world-renowned chef. The restaurant has concocted a special six course tasting menu, where chef Colagreco’s signature seasonal cooking is given a subtle festive twist. The restaurant is also pulling out all the stops for New Year’s Eve. On 31 December, guests can enjoy a six-course tasting menu that will champion British terroir and seasonal produce. 

Dishes include pumpkin and poached scallop with sea buckthorn and ponzu gel, potato and smoked haddock with caviar and potato foam and Jerusalem artichoke and Mylor prawns with beef tendon stew and allium capers. To follow, celeriac and sole with Piedmont hazelnut and black truffle and cabbage and Rhug Estate lamb with seaweed, lamb demi-glace and stuffed cabbage round-off the menu, before a quince dessert with granita, preserved quince and noble fir pinecone.Ekstedt at the Yard, Westminster

Experience a six-course Nordic feast at Ekstedt at The Yard, housed within Westminster’s iconic Great Scotland Yard Hotel, with a menu from Michelin-starred chef Niklas Ekstedt. On arrival, enjoy a celebratory glass of champagne with welcome bites from the open fire before the main event: six spectacular dishes cooked over flames. What’s more, the hotel’s two bars, 40 Elephants and Sibin, will be offering guests dining at the restaurant 20% off drinks until 2am. Minutes from Trafalgar Square, guests can nip out to view the fireworks at their utmost convenience.

The Pem, located inside Westminster’s Conrad London St James, is serving up refined fine dining this Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve for all your festive needs. Led by acclaimed chef Sally Abé, on 25 December, guests can enjoy elegant dishes like Devon crab royale with winter greens and pomegranate or sweetcorn velouté with Exmoor caviar. For mains, the golden-crusted shorthorn beef fillet wellington is a standout, as is the roast Sladesdown goose breast with cranberry and leg ballotine. End on a high with desserts like the Christmas pudding soufflé or the indulgent Mont Blanc. 

On New Year’s Eve, indulge in a five or seven-course menu designed to match the occasion. On 25 December, indulge in a five-course Christmas Day Feast, featuring elegant canapes and dishes including the roast bronze turkey, line caught sea bass and festive desserts like the Christmas pudding with brandy butter and manjari chocolate bubble with salted caramel and cinnamon gelato. The restaurant has also partnered with StreetSmart UK, a leading charity supporting homeless and vulnerable people.
