With the end of the year merely days away now, the anticipation for New Year’s Eve celebrations has increased exponentially. And to help you celebrate the beginning of the new year in luxury, here are some of the best luxury New Year’s Eve offerings in hotels from across the globe — so that you can enjoy the festivities in style anywhere in the world.
Hotel Eden, Rome
The NYE celebrations will also continue throughout the hotel with the launch of its ‘Extravaganza Night’. The evening will begin with a refined cocktail reception at La Libreria, followed by special menus, live music, and a DJ set at La Terrazza and Il Giardino Ristorante.
La Terrazza’s New Year’s Eve menu includes selections such as sea urchin and seaweed, puglian oyster and hollandaise sauce, wagyu tataki, king crab risotto, turbot, and shellfish mille-feuille, pigeon & chestnuts, chocolate and tobacco, and panettone and pandoro, accompanied by a selection of festive New Year’s Eve petits fours. This is one tasty way to usher in 2024.
Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo, Monaco
Enjoy a festive New Year’s Eve dinner at Hotel Metropole’s new restaurant, Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac, accompanied by a talented band including a violinist, saxophonist, singers, and dancers. Guests can enjoy a five-part show comprising classical, jazz swing, disco and Latino et pop electro alongside a seven-course dinner including lobster bisque and scallop cannelloni.
For a quieter celebration, guests can opt for a New Year’s Eve dinner at Yoshi, which is the only Japanese restaurant on the Côte d’Azur to have been awarded a Michelin star since 2010.
Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan
Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan is serving a seven-course dinner at Acanto Restaurant with live music which includes dishes including black squid ink ravioli with king crab meat, turnip greens and mullet bottarg, and Irish beef fillet with spinach, mushroom duxelles, black truffle and bitter cocoa jus.
To continue the festivities at the Milanese hotel, guests can check out the hotel’s Principe Bar, which will have a DJ set and provide a bottle of Champagne to get the party started.
Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles
For those celebrating in sunny Los Angeles, Hotel Bel-Air will be transforming Californian cuisine by giving it a festive twist this season. The hotel will be using locally sourced ingredients to create new gourmet discoveries for a memorable celebration.
The Los Angeles hotel, which is part of the Dorchester Collection, will be offering a six-course tasting menu on the evening of New Year’s Eve with a Champagne toast and live music to help you ring in 2024 in style.
The Berkeley, London
Closer to home, the Blue Bar at the Berkeley, will be hosting a New Year’s celebration in collaboration with Champagne Laurent-Perrier. Guests can enjoy a champagne-inspired drinks menu which will be carefully curated to evoke the spirit of celebration. Each guest will receive a complimentary glass to raise a toast at midnight, while a host of DJs will ensure that the party is in full swing.
Guests can also enjoy a four course meal in The Collins Room at the Berkeley, which will feature dishes like delicate hand-dived Orkney scallops, wild mushroom and truffle velouté, Hampshire venison fillet and pan-fried bass. For dessert, there will be chocolate éclair or a selection of artisan cheese.
