The global luxury wine awards will take place in historic venues this November
Known as the “Oscars of fine wine”, The Golden Vines is set to return to London for an extravagant celebration from 6-8 November 2026. The sixth edition of the global luxury wine awards, established in the UK capital in 2021, will invite leading figures from the fine wine, rare spirits, gastronomy and philanthropic sectors for a three-day event culminating in The Golden Vines gala.
The gala, which recognises producers and pioneers shaping the future of the global fine wine and rare spirits, will feature musical entertainment and a charity auction benefitting the Gérard Basset Foundation, alongside a dining experience created by chef Simon Rogan. Chef Simon’s three-Michelin-star restaurant L’Enclume is known for its visionary farm-to-table concept that celebrates hyper-local ingredients grown on its own farm in the picturesque Cumbrian countryside.
The awards themselves, voted for by industry professionals from around the globe, recognise trailblazing brands and individuals in categories including best fine wine producer, best rare spirit brand, and the rising star award. Previous winners include Harlan Estate, Weingut Egon Müller, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux and Corison.
The Golden Vines was created by Liquid Icons, the fine wine research and content group founded by the late Gérard Basset OBE MW MS and Lewis Chester DipWSET.
“We are thrilled to bring The Golden Vines back to London, the city where it all began,” says Lewis. “Over the past six years, it has evolved into one of the most influential gatherings in fine wine, bringing together leading figures from across the globe. This year’s programme is our most ambitious yet, celebrating excellence while championing the values of community, education and philanthropy that continue to define The Golden Vines.”
Previous editions of The Goldens Vines have taken place in Florence, Paris, Madrid and Miami. This year’s return to London will include events hosted in historic venues, including The Old Bailey. The world’s most famous courts will host the inaugural Frédéric Panaïotis La Paulée dinner, an intimate and convivial dining experience inspired by traditional Burgundian harvest feasts. Other highlights for ticketholders will include exclusive masterclasses, winemaker lunches, private experiences and tasting opportunities.
