vam.ac.ukEnjoy a kappo-style Japanese meal at Roketsu
Roketsu, the fine dining Japanese restaurant in Marylebone, has unveiled their new menu which brings kappo-style dining to the heart of London. Kappo is a uniquely Japanese approach to dining where dishes are created through dialogue between the chef and the guest. The new menu is organised into categories including raw, grilled dishes, sushi and tempura, allowing guests to combine and tailor their own meal, with everything cooked over bincho charcoal and straw fire which adds a dramatic sense of theatre. From small plates like miso monaka, hot Cornish crab chawanmushi with steamed egg custard with crab and dashi and more to fresh nigiri options like wagyu sukiyaki gunkan, this is a Japanese feast you certainly don’t want to miss. And if this doesn’t convince you, read our review of the restaurant to get your appetite going.
