Silverstone, which is home to the Formula 1 British Grand Prix, will be opening a bespoke hospitality area with Moët & Chandon as part of the partnership
Moët Hennessy has announced a long-term partnership with Silverstone, with Möet & Chandon as the official champagne partner of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2026. The champagne brand will also be opening up a special hospitality area called the Moët & Chandon Club throughout the Grand Prix weekend (4 to 5 July), which will see a luxury space within the Silverstone Fusion lounge transformed into an immersive brand home.
This club is an immersive destination designed to “celebrate the spirit and legacy” of Formula 1. It will invite guests into the world of Moët, where visitors will discover a rare exhibition of historic podium bottles, each personally signed by legendary Formula 1 drivers in a tribute to the sport’s most iconic moments.
Guests will also have the opportunity to own a pre-engraved Moët & Chandon bottle, creating a keepsake that captures the essence of the occasion. A selection of specially curated champagne cocktails will also be available. To round off the experience, guests will be invited to step into the spotlight with a podium-inspired photo moment capturing the exhilaration of victory in F1.
Moët & Chandon has had a longstanding partnership with Formula 1, with the winning drivers of each race often drinking and spraying each other with the champagne at the podium. It is an integral part of the celebrations on and off-track in the sport, so this wider partnership seems like a natural next step for the brand.
Speaking about the partnership, Julie Nollet, managing director of Moët Hennessy UK & Ireland expressed the brand’s excitement at joining the world of motorsport.
“Silverstone holds a unique place in the world of motorsport, and we’re proud to be partnering with them throughout the year, with the F1 weekend standing out as a defining moment in that partnership. With Moët & Chandon as the official champagne sponsor, we’re pleased to bring a sense of celebration and elegance to one of the most prestigious events in sport,” she said.
Rachel James, head of partnerships at Silverstone, echoed these sentiments, saying: “Silverstone has long been at the heart of motorsport, a place where legends are born and history is written. We are delighted to extend our partnership with Moët Hennessy continuing to bring together two worlds defined by heritage, craftsmanship and timeless excellence.”
