The jewel in an unrivalled aristocratic property crown, No.1 Grosvenor Square, situated in the desirable W1K postcode and formerly the US Embassy, will bring 44 new residences to Mayfair when it completes next month. And the penthouse apartment has already sold for a record-breaking £140m.

Located a stone’s throw from the world’s most desirable streets, Michelin-starred restaurants and exclusive private members’ clubs, Grosvenor Square also benefits from being one of the largest garden squares in London.

Award-winning British architects Eric Parry Architects have worked in partnership with Lodha UK to maintain the character of the historic building by reinstating its carefully conserved neo-Georgian elegance. The interiors boast raised ceiling heights of 3m up to 4.2m – one of the highest of any new residential building in London.

The contemporary interiors, designed by international design firm Yabu Pushelberg, give a nod to the heritage of the building, featuring impeccable precision and attention to detail. The public areas of the property have been designed with rich Italian marble and American black walnut.

Lodha UK Co-CEO Gabriel York says: “At Lodha we pride ourselves on working with world leaders, from design, architecture and hospitality. That is why we are launching an in-house hospitality service rather than outsourcing to external management agencies, to ensure that we can adhere to our exacting and unrivalled standards.”

The high-end development will offer residents a dedicated lifestyle floor full of amenities, including a 25m heated pool, hot vitality pool, cool plunge pool and ‘experience showers’, state-of-the-art gym with personal training room, private spa and treatment rooms, private library, lounge bar with billiard table, private cinema and performance venue, and 24-hour concierge providing 360 degree lifestyle services. Views across the London skyline are also plentiful from this iconic residential property.

Simon Hirst, general manager of No.1 Grosvenor Square, said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to be part of the No.1 Grosvenor Square project. The Lodha product is truly exceptional, and the team and I really look forward to welcoming the residents to their new homes and cater to their every need with an incomparable level of service year-round.”

High tech 24-hour security features will be in place, and trained personnel on-site around the clock providing residents with peace of mind. In order to maintain privacy, a discreet and covered vehicle drop-off point provides private off-street access managed by the Saint Amand, 24-hour concierge and secure valet parking.
