IWC Schaffhausen and Lewis Hamilton celebrate 10-year partnership with Battersea pop-up

The immersive IWC Schaffhausen experience highlights key milestones from Lewis Hamilton’s illustrious Formula 1 career

IWC Lewis HamiltonLuxury watch brand IWC Schaffhausen are launching an immersive pop-up experience at Battersea to celebrate their 10 year partnership with Formula 1 icon Lewis Hamilton. It will be located in Malaysia Square at Battersea Power Station from 2 to 7 July.

The immersive experience will highlight key milestones from Hamilton’s illustrious career with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team and features pieces like his 2020 Silverstone 1st place trophy and the Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+ car from the 2019 Formula One World Championship. It will also serve to highlight Hamilton’s partnership with IWC.

Related: TAG Heuer unveils new collaboration with PorscheIWC Lewis HamiltonApart from that, the pop-up will also feature several one-off and sellable IWC pieces that Lewis Hamilton has helped design and worn throughout various F1 seasons, including the Ingenieur Chronograph Edition Lewis Hamilton, Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition 50th Anniversary of Mercedes-AMG, and Portugieser Tourbillon Retrograde “Lewis Hamilton”.

This space is a way for guests to experience and celebrate snippets of Lewis Hamilton’s distinguished Formula 1 career as well as his partnership with the Swiss luxury brand with the help of some motorsport memorabilia, engineering artefacts and unique timepieces that will be on display.

Other pieces being featured at the pop-up include Hamilton’s Silverstone winning race suit from 2021, IWC-branded driving gloves from 2013-2014 and a replica of his helmet from the 2024 season.

Since then, the luxury watch brand has designed and dedicated several limited edition watches to the F1 driver. The Tempus cover star has also helped design three watches with IWC, the latest one releasing in 2023.

IWC Schaffhausen is also the official engineering partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One team since 2013.

The British Grand Prix will be held at the Silverstone Circuit on 7 July, where F1 fans can see the F1 icon back in action on his home turf.
