Circus afternoon tea, Vintry & Mercer
Vintry & Mercer has unveiled a truly playful twist to the classic afternoon tea, bringing the colour and magic of the big top to the heart of the City with its circus-themed afternoon tea. Inspired by the magic of the circus, you can look forward to true culinary artistry. Beginning with a line-up of beautifully crafted pastries including the Big Top raspberry and lemon curd mousse, carousel macarons, and Bobo the Clown blackberry and white chocolate cheesecake. Then comes the touch of nostalgia: freshly baked warm buttermilk scones with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. For a showstopping finale, you are treated to a spectacle of savoury favourites – from roast beef in Yorkshire puddings to truffled egg mayonnaise brioche, smoked salmon blinis and coronation chicken.
