The Bear’s Will Poulter joins charity series with NoMad London

Bringing his The Bear chef skills to real life, Will Poulter has joined Side Hustle’s Tacos with Friends charity initiative at NoMad London
Will Poulter has dazzled us on the big screen with films like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, We’re the Millers, Midsommar and more. He also recently appeared on the hit TV show The Bear, where he plays the role of a chef. Now, he is bringing those cooking skills to NoMad London by joining the Tacos with Friends charity initiative.
NoMad’s cocktail bar Side Hustle has the Tacos with Friends monthly residency series where friends of NoMad will design their own exclusive taco creation. This month, Will Poulter has created his own version of a taco which will be available at Side Hustle all June — alongside the bar’s acclaimed menu of Latin-American inspired dishes and world-class cocktails.

Will Poulter, and every guest featured in this series, has worked closely with the NoMad London culinary team led by Bryce Shuman and Zak Gregoire to craft a taco that reflects their own flavour inspirations — from the shell and filling, to the salsa pairings and garnish.
Will’s taco is a play on his job as a fictional TV chef featuring ingredients like pork, pickled honeydew melon and shisho verde. This taco is inspired by The Bear’s ‘Honeydew’ episode, which marks his first appearance on the show. A portion of proceeds from each taco sold will support City Harvest, a London-based charity that helps fight food waste and gets good food to people who need it.

Tacos with Friends is a celebration of creativity, flavour, and community, bringing together exceptional talents for a meaningful cause. Alongside Will Poulter, other guests taking part in the Tacos with Friends charity initiative with NoMad London include Michelin-star chef Tomos Parry (who took part in May) and Norwegian bartender and digital innovator Monica Berg.
The initiative will continue throughout the year, with more taco partners to be announced who will bring bold flavours, big personalities, and serious creativity — all for a good cause.
