The Roger Dubuis and Lamborghini partnership roaring into Harrods

Roger Dubuis and Lamborghini Squadra Corse have launched an innovative pop up in the luxury department store
Luxury watch brand Roger Dubuis is celebrating its new collaboration with Lamborghini Squadra Corse with an innovative summer pop up event at Harrods. The event, held in the Knightsbridge department store until 28 July, explores the haute horology brand's impressive collection as well the world of motorsport.
Fans of the brands will enjoy the store's fearsome window display before experiencing 360-degree motorsport design concept, inspired by the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Skeleton. The star of the show is, of course, the Excalibur Aventador S, created in collaboration with Lamborghini Squadra Corse.
Limited to just 88 pieces, the Excalibur Aventador S boasts a skeleton dial in black and yellow, rhodium plated luminous indexes, 18k gold hands with yellow transfer and white luminous SLN tips, and a yellow seconds hand.
The complication, which is available in colour models including Blue and Pink Gold, is made from the C-SMC carbon of Lamborghini's supercars and driven by an 'engine' created in the image of the brand's Aventador. The calibre was also inspired by the collaboration, and is the brand's first skeleton double sprung balances linked with a differential.
If that's not enough, Lamborghini has made a UK debut with its Huracán Evo, famed for its extreme performance, which is on display in the store. With more audio and visual experience available in the Roger Dubuis lounge – such as a racing simulator – visitors can explore the synergy in engineering and innovation shared by the two brands, including the limited edition watches launched to announce the watchmaker's sponsorship of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
