The newest luxury hotel group you should have on your radar
By Rose Adams | 23 August 2018 | Travel
Bless Collection Hotels will make its debut in Madrid this December
Meet Bless Collection Hotels, a new and exciting addition to the world of luxury hotel brands. A new subsidiary of Spanish chain Palladium Hotel Group – which already has a range of luxury properties in Ibiza, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville – its first property opening will be in Madrid, on Calle de Velázquez in the heart of the city’s Salamanca district, this December. Amenities will include a rooftop pool and restaurant, bowling alley, barber shop and underground ‘clandestine’ bar.
The hotel’s central restaurant will be headed up by Michelin-starred Basque chef Martin Berasategui, who, with a total of eight Michelin stars, holds more than any other Spanish chef. Berasategui's signature restaurant Etxeco is set to become a true destination culinary experience.
In terms of aesthetic, the hotel will boast eclectic interiors designed by renowned Spanish designer and architect Lázaro Rosa-Violan, who sought to bring a slice of traditional Madrilenian character to the property. There will be a focus on ‘sensory architecture’ that will define collaborative work spaces and social areas.

A personal butler will be on hand to prepare the perfect ‘BLESS’ bath experience for guests each day, with a range of bath salts, soaps and essences, depending on skin type and mood. What's more, a bespoke 'resting experience', taking into account features such as choosing bed linen, pillow type and sleep scents, will further enhance a stay.
“The new upscale brand will leverage our position in the premium market and draws on our existing experience within the luxury and lifestyle sector," Abel Matutes, CEO of Palladium Hotel Group said. "The concept of ‘contemporary luxury’ is aimed at an ever-growing ‘bleisure’ demographic looking for a combination of business and leisure including convenience, premium services, high-tech facilities, strong design credentials as well as state-of-the-art health and wellbeing services and excellent gastronomy.”
An entertainment programme inspired by the destination’s cultural agenda – from art and culture to fashion and gastronomy – will be on offer, including live music, fashion shows, visual art and photography exhibitions.
The BLESS Collection Hotels brand, which ‘worships the pursuit of happiness and the good life,’ is based on a concept the brand describes as ‘hedonistic luxury’ – a unique selling point it hopes will differentiate it from competitors. Palladium Hotel Group already has over 48 hotels in six countries – including Spain, Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Jamaica – and owns brands such as Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts, Palladium Hotels, Palladium Boutique Hotels, Only You Hotels, and Hard Rock Hotels.
