As the UK's most popular alcoholic beverage, it is perhaps no surprise that each year, millions of people across the country come together to honour a holiday created specifically to venerate this ancient drink; this year the festival, known as Beer Day Britain, falls on 15 June.
How you choose to celebrate it depends entirely on your personal preferences, be it taking sips of a crisp lager in between burger flips on a backdoor BBQ, or indulging an a decadent Imperial Stout in front of late night TV.
However, if you're stuck for choice, here are some of the best rare and unusual beers that Tempus recommends this International Beer Day.
DUVEL BARREL AGED BOURBON BATCH NO. 3
Created by a fourth-generation family-run brewery based in Belgium, this beer has been aged in a Bourbon oak barrel for around six months creating a stronger and darker beverage compared to the normal Duvel.
BIRD & BLEND TEARIFFIC BOX
Crafted in collaboration with epic Bristol beer brewers Basement Beer, tea masters Bird & Blend are offering a unique treat; two super tasty tea-infused beers available to purchase in a box set.

CHOUFFE BOK 6666
