Spring Garden’s culinary experience returns to RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024

The immersive culinary extravaganza of Spring Garden returns to RHS Chelsea for the second year in a row, serving food ‘straight from the earth’

Spring Garden RHS ChelseaSpring Garden, the immersive culinary experience headlining RHS Chelsea Flower Show, is returning for its second year running, serving guests with food and drinks ‘straight from the earth’. Spring Garden is a collaboration between chef Skye Gyngell and luxury London caterer AP&Co and invites visitors to reconnect with nature through food and beyond.

Situated in the grounds of Royal Hospital Chelsea, guests can experience Spring Garden from 21 to 25 May, where they will be treated to an intimate dining extravaganza complemented by the woodland setting of the venue. With a medley of culinary delights and seasonal flavours set against the backdrop of the world’s most prestigious flower show, Spring Garden promises to bring locally grown and responsibly sourced ingredients to the table with minimum disruption to the natural environment.Some ingredients being used in this year’s menu include sweet peas, fennel, apricots, cherries and locally sourced cheese and meats, with chef Skye endeavouring to minimise food waste as much as possible. 

Speaking about cooking for Spring Garden, chef Skye expressed her delight at being invited back to cook and highlighted how she aims to champion sustainability with her menu and incorporate a zero waste approach with the ingredients.

“I’m really excited to be coming back to Chelsea to bring our guests a repertoire of even more innovative farm-fresh food, highlighting the vital ‘field to plate’ connection,” she said. “In the embrace of earth’s goodness, we’re doubling down on sustainability, aiming to make an even greater positive impact and drive the ‘zero waste’ approach.”Spring Garden RHS Chelsea“As we return for the second year with AP&Co, guests can expect a truly seasonal cooking experience which harmonises the beauty of nature and culinary artistry — where every bite is a revelation,” she added.
