On Monday, 23 February, Walpole, the industry body for the luxury sector, introduced its 2026 selection for its Brands of Tomorrow programme at The Ned in London. This year, the list includes brands like Herd, Kingdom Scotland and Artelium.
Brands of Tomorrow is Walpole’s flagship incubator programme, created in association with Mishcon de Reya, guiding 12 carefully selected brands through a year-long programme of workshops and mentorship. Participants are supported by some of the UK’s most experienced luxury executives and founders, who share their knowledge and expertise to help brands accelerate growth, scale operations and refine their business strategy.
Currently in its 19th year, the programme supports the growth of the British luxury sector by passing on practical skills and fostering meaningful relationships between established and emerging luxury businesses.
This year’s brands have cast a particular emphasis on strong regional representation, with brands based across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Suffolk, Leicester, Norfolk and London. Together, they showcase the creative and entrepreneurial talent shaping the future of British luxury, with each brand combining sustainability, authenticity and craftsmanship to create lasting products and experiences.
This year’s cohort includes heritage textile brands like Kindred of Ireland and Herd, Sussex winemakers Artelium, sheepskin childrenswear and buggy accessories Binibamba, and Norfolk furniture brand Otzi. Other brands include clothsurgeon, Hyde & Hare, Uniform Standard, Restaries, Sister by Studio Ashby, Kingdom Scotland and Elsewhere Coffee.
Speaking of the newest cohort, Helen Brocklebank, CEO of Walpole said in a statement: “Walpole’s mission to develop the British luxury sector is exemplified by its Brands of Tomorrow programme. Over the past 19 years, our exceptional mentors, sponsors and community have supported 177 emerging luxury brands on their path to growth.”
“This year’s selected brands celebrate extraordinary natural materials, first-rate craftsmanship and outstanding storytelling,” she added.
Previous Walpole Brands of Tomorrow mentees include Bremont, Cece Jewellery, Lary King, MJ Jones and more.
