As national lockdown hit early last year, bespoke Savile Row tailor Richard Anderson went back to the drawing board by reimagining his iconic house style into a striking Bespoke Single-Breasted Red Leather Jacket design.

The Single-Breasted Red Leather Jacket is the result of an experiment undertaken by Anderson and his team in which they harnessed the power of fabric choices previously unused by the brand, and strikes a balance between classic and contemporary design.

The one-button Anderson house style features a neat, structured shoulder with no rope to the sleeve head, while arm holes are cut high for ease of movement. For ladies, the tailored line is elegant, comfortable and practical, using traditional tailoring and couture methods with additional darts for a universally flattering silhouette.

All of the leather used in the line are by-products sourced from world renowned tanneries, and as such all comply with European standards, regardless of tanning origin. Further colour options are available.

Richard Anderson has continuously refined its house style over the course of their existence, re-visiting and updating classics and introducing new styles and designs to older lines. The style, according to the tailor, is specifically designed to improve your profile and accentuate your chest.

To complement the unique house style, the tailor hand-picked cloths that are exclusive to the Richard Anderson brand. Each original suiting and tweed is universally flattering as well as long-wearing and durable, making them excellent for business wear, leisure, special occasions and travelling in style.

A series of direct measures are taken, and a customer’s individual and unique paper pattern is constructed considering posture and figuration.

The Red Leather Jacket is available from £5,686.
