Luxury Swiss watchmaker Raymond Weil has announced it will continue its partnership with the BRIT Awards, maintaining its role as the awards' official timing partner through to 2019. And to mark the collaboration, the brand is launching two exclusive special edition timepieces to celebrate the UK's premier music awards night.

The watches will be gifted to nominees, winners, presenters and performers during the BRITs, which take place on the 21 February at London's O2 Arena and feature performances from some of the world's biggest stars including recent Super Bowl half time star Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Dua Lipa. Critic's Choice Award winner Jorja Smith will perform at the event's Diamond Dining experience ahead of the evening, while the adjascent InterContinental Hotel – London O2 will play host to an Official Aftershow Party sponsored by Tempus.

Raymond Weil's Gents Tango Diver BRIT Awards Special Edition (pictured) features a 41mm stainless steel case house a black dial and three-link bracelet, with the Tango Diver bezel coloured a deep red to match the BRIT Awards trophy, designed this year by Sir Anish Kapoor. The exclusive watch is finished with a case-back engraved with the BRITs logo, and is water resistant to 300m.

A more feminine version has also been created for the event, in the form of the Ladies Tango BRIT Awards Special Edition. Taking its cue from the 30mm polished stainless steel Ladies Tango case, the watch features a mother of pearl dial adorned with eight diamonds and silver roman numerals at each hour mark. The Ladies' edition is water resistant to 100m, and also features the engraved BRITs case back. Raymond Weil will sell a limited quantity of the watches via their website during February 2018.

This year will mark the 16th year the watchmaker has supported the BRIT Awards, and the music-loving brand has enjoyed collaborations with British artists Emeli Sandé, Tinie Tempah, Pixie Lott and James Bay. It has also created limited edition timepieces to honour the likes of The Beatles and Buddy Holly.

Tempus is proud to be headline partner of the BRITs Official Aftershow Party 2018. Discover more here.
