Oris launches hot pink ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition watch

Following the success of the 2023 Kermit the Frog release, Oris has modelled its latest ProPilot X watch after yet another muppet — the sassy Miss Piggy
When Oris and Disney’s The Muppets collaborated to release the ProPilot X Kermit Edition watch in 2023, it took the world by a storm. Such was its surprising popularity that Oris has now unveiled yet another Muppet-inspired watch: The ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition.
The brand has modelled its latest edition after the sassy Miss Piggy and is a celebration of female empowerment. This bold, hot pink watch features the diva on the rotor, which is visible through the 34mm case back spyhole. The watch also has a hot pink dial and a baguette diamond at the 12 o’clock hour marker.
The Oris ProPilot X Miss Piggy edition embraces Miss Piggy’s “bold, beautiful and confident persona to create an utterly unforgettable design”. The new edition is based on the ProPilot X, which now comes with a 34.00mm stainless steel case. It is powered by a Swiss made automatic movement.

On the mirror-polished case back, there’s a small opening that reveals a picture of Miss Piggy on the lilac rotor, which appears and disappears as the rotor rotates.
“We’re very excited to be working with ‘vous’, Miss Piggy, the world’s most fabulous pig,” says Rolf Studer, Oris Co-CEO. “Like you, we’re optimistic about the future, and we want to have some fun getting there. Life’s too short not to have big dreams and to enjoy yourself.”
“We made this watch for independent, stylish, and above all, fabulous individuals and we couldn’t think of a better collaborator than [Miss Piggy], a global icon, to be the star of the project,” he added.
In a fun twist, the brand even invited Miss Piggy herself — among other successful women — for a fun interview to talk about the new collaboration. When asked about her secret to staying fabulous, Miss Piggy had a very simple answer — as an icon is wont to have: “Moi is fabulous simply because moi insists upon being fabulous!”

“To moi, fabulous is a mindset, a way of life,” she said. “Another secret: accessorise as much as possible. I, for one, never leave home without my pearls or my gloves or my purse or my bedazzled water bottle or my assistant who reminds moi which accessories to never leave home without!”
Ask her who is her greatest influence in life, and her answer bears no surprises.
“I have had the greatest influence over my life – and, I assume, the lives of every other person on earth. After all, do you think anyone but moi could have clawed my way out of the chorus line and into the spotlight to become a beloved worldwide sensation? Absolutely not!” she said.
Well, she’s not wrong. She wouldn’t have had an entire watch dedicated to her if it wasn’t true.
