Luxury professional womenswear brand Cherida launches core collection with Mayfair women’s event

Cherida Patterson’s launch event was attended by prominent women in business
Luxury professional womenswear label Cherida held a glamorous launch event on Wednesday 13 February, bringing together women in business including executives from watch brand Breguet, CEOs from architecture and interior design firms and the Yazdani Gallery, to showcase the brand's core collection of fashion-forward, expertly tailored business wear.
Guests attending the Mayfair event at South Audley Street enjoyed entertainment by pianist Peter Wellington and refreshments from sponsors Hatt et Söner champagne, Old Curiosity Gin and Attilus Caviar. German watchmakers Moritz Grossmann also showcased fine women's watches on the night, as guests discovered the unique demi-bespoke service that Cherida's founder and designer, Cherida Patterson, offers her luxury clientele.
"I noticed that there was a gap in the market for designer clothing that bridged the gap between daytimes in the office and evening work events," Patterson told Tempus. "I wanted to cater to busy professionals, and help them feel as empowered as they should, so an important part of our service is to visit women in their office, homes or hotel room – wherever is most convenient – for a fitting service that allows us to tailor their items perfectly." >>
The event also raised money for The Fawcett Society – the UK's leading charity for gender equality and women's rights – through an auction of Cherida's popular silky box jacket.
"Having lived in Dubai and New York before coming home to London, I am very influenced by designs and lifestyle of these two cosmopolitan cities," said Patterson. "I also want to ensure my brand is at the forefront of social change, and so I'm delighted to be raising money for the Fawcett Society. I want to actively aid how women are perceived in business, while creating garments that are both sustainably and ethically produced."
The Cherida collection displayed the brand's defiant ethos that reimagines corporate style in high quality, contemporary classics. The brand's unique at-home or in-office tailoring service ensure that its women's business attire is a cut above the rest, providing the perfect fit entirely at the buyer's convenience.
