Luna Omakase is also auctioning an exclusive private dining experience for 12 guests alongside a painting by artist Oms Rocha
Luna Omakase, the intimate sky-high Japanese restaurant in London’s Liverpool Street, has released a minimalist short film titled ‘The Art of Twelve’, that explores the creative vision and philosophy behind its world of art, gastronomy, and lunar inspiration.
The film follows artist Oms Rocha – who designed the 12 custom paintings featured in the restaurant that depict the moon cycle – and executive chef Leo Tanyag as they bring the essence of Luna Omakase to life from canvas to cuisine.

To celebrate the release of the film, the restaurant is auctioning off an original painting by Oms Rocha titled the Luna Gold Premiere, which is inspired by his original Luna Omakase wall paintings. This work will be auctioned and available alongside an exclusive Luna Omakase private dining takeover experience.
Known for his multi-disciplinary practice that draws on ancient spiritual traditions, minimalist forms, and universal symbolism, Rocha’s work explores themes of duality, transcendence, and ritual.
The bid starts at £500 and runs until Friday 14 November. The highest bidder will also receive a private LUNA Omakase takeover for twelve guests (worth more than £5000). All proceeds will go to The Felix Project, reflecting Luna’s philosophy of giving back through its moon cycle of creation and renewal.

Luna has already cemented itself as one of the most incredible new openings in the city since its inception earlier this year. The restaurant specialises in Sosaku-style Edomae Omakase, a modern interpretation of traditional Edomae sushi, which originated in Tokyo during the Edo period.
At Luna, the 12 course menu changes daily, highlighting the finest seasonal ingredients and sustainable seafood. And each course somehow tends to outdo the last.
The auction is currently live, and you can place your bids on the painting until 14 November.
