Luxury watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre has brought its exclusive Adventure Spirit Travelling collection to London which charts the evolution of sports watches
Jaeger-LeCoultre is diving deep into the history and evolution of sports watches by bringing its Adventure Spirit Travelling collection to its flagship boutique in London. The story of the sports watches in this collection is told in four chapters – each defined by a period of significant cultural and social change as well as horological advances.
The story began with the military watches of the 1940s, before transitioning to the diving watches of the 1960s. This was followed by a bold move to the big and colourful sports watches of the 1970s, and a series of highly technical conceptual watches in the 2000s.

The brand has assembled a selection of rare models in the Adventure Spirit Travelling Collection, showcasing the versatility and elegance of sports watches over the past eight decades.
The collection includes pieces of true feats in watchmaking, such as the Geophysic, which is renowned for its notable accuracy, resistance, and reliability and was presented to the commander of the Nautilus, the first atomic submarine to reach the North Pole in August 1958.

More recent models incorporate advanced technical features, including a GMT function and a power reserve indicator.
At the Old Bond Street flagship boutique of the watchmaker, guests can embark on a curated journey through horological excellence through a showcase of significant and historical timepieces from each dedicated chapter. This will be shown along with the Polaris collection, from past to present, offering a truly immersive experience for the watch aficionados.
On display from 15 September to 18 October 2025, the showcase is open to the public every week from Monday to Saturday.
