Christmas Eve

After breakfast, guests can embark on a thrilling snowmobiling adventure, whizzing past arctic forests as you explore the picturesque landscape. You’ll also have the chance to try ice fishing in frozen lakes, learning local techniques and even feasting on the fruits of your labour, having your catch of the day cooked up by the on-site chef afterwards. This afternoon you get the chance to snowmobil to the spectacular sight of which Finland is famous for: The Northern Lights. This awe-inspiring natural phenomenon fills the sky with an eerie glow of green and pink clouds, streamers, arcs and shooting rays and should be a must on every travel fan's bucket list.

Christmas Day

After enjoying a lavish festive breakfast prepared by your private chef, enjoy a reindeer-pulled sleigh ride through your fairy-tale surroundings, as you cross the beautiful forest landscape. There’s an opportunity to visit the native sami reindeer herders, learning about their nomadic history and rich cultural heritage. Of course it wouldn't be Christmas without Santa, and this afternoon you’ll be treated to a private visit from the man himself, where he’ll present the whole family with presents, before returning to the Northern Lights on a snowshoe safari. Donning traditional snowshoes, you’ll channel your inner eskimo, exploring the wintry wonderland while catching a glimpse of the wondrous lights and tucking into warming snacks over a campfire. The day ends with with another specially prepared dinner back at the chalet, which surely beats the cold turkey sandwiches.

After lunch, you'll head back in search of one last glimpse of the Northern Lights, this time while learning to toboggan down ice slopes. This evening you’ll enjoy a memorable farewell dinner at the chalet before hitting the pillow on your final night.
