Heesen to debut 57m Santosha at Palm Beach International Boat Show

The first in the new 57m Aluminium Class from Heesen, Santosha boasts a distinctive design and innovative scoop-shaped stern — bound to turn heads at port

Renowned for its impressive display of luxury yachts and boats, this year will see the popular Palm Beach International Boat Show expand to take place over five days (19-23 March) in response to demand from attendees and exhibitors. Notable for showcasing some of the world’s most impressive superyachts, 2025 is shaping up to be no different. One regular exhibitor is Dutch custom ship builder Heesen Yachts. With a reputation for fast and fuel-efficient all-aluminum superyachts, devotees will be eager to discover Heesen’s latest innovations.

Not one to disappoint, fresh from her delivery in Q4, Heesen’s 57m Santosha will make her boat show debut, the first in the new 57m Aluminium Class. Featuring the originative design many have come to expect from Heesen, with a fuel-minimising Fast Displacement Hull Form, she can reach a noteworthy 22 knots at top speed. Her exterior is designed by Heesen favourite Omega Architects, with a shapely silhouette featuring an elongated profile and innovative scoop-shaped stern.

Of the design choice, Frank Laupman, Omega Yachts, notes: “We added a touch of aggression by way of sharp angles. The overall effect is the look of a leaping animal.”

Offering accommodation for 12 guests, with an owner’s stateroom and five double guest suites, she can also accommodate 13 crew members. At Palm Beach Boat Show, Santosha will be displayed alongside two other yachts from Heesen — 50m Book Ends and 50m ELA. Delivered in 2022, Book Ends is a fast-cruising yacht below 500 GT, featuring a low-drag hull design with a reduced transom depth. Her refinements have led to efficiency gains of around 12%, while a draft of just 2.15m makes Book Ends the perfect yacht for exploring the shallower waters of The Bahamas

Meanwhile ELA, delivered in 2021, further showcases Heesen’s expertise in aluminium, with a Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) and contemporary profile. With a low draft of 2.15 metres she is also well suited for shallower waters and cruising close to the shorelines.

All three will be on display from 19 to 23 March at Palm Beach International Boat Show.
