Girard Perregaux has released another iteration of the Laureato chronograph, this time with a grey Grand Feu enamel dial
Luxury watch brand Girard Perregaux has unveiled their latest addition to the Laureato chronograph collection: the Girard Perregaux Laureato 42mm Infinite Grey watch.
The Laureato first debuted 50 years ago in 1975, and to celebrate this milestone and pay tribute to the brand’s horological savoir faire, this iteration of the watch has a refined blueish hue and features a grey Grand Feu enamel dial.

Layered carefully onto the dial, it is then fired at around 800°C in a kiln – repeated five to 10 times – to achieve its radiant surface. A sunray flinqué motif lies beneath the translucent enamel layer, revealing the dial’s sense of depth.
While the Grand Feu enamel dial is certainly the star feature, the Girard Perregaux Laureato 42mm Infinite Grey watch also has a distinctive octagonal bezel, set atop a circular plinth and tonneau-shaped case, which creates a harmonious play of shapes and light.
Rhodium-plated baton hands mark the hours and minutes, while the slender central seconds hand features a counterweight inspired by the Girard-Perregaux Gold Bridge – a discreet tribute to the brand’s horological DNA.

Measuring at 3.97mm thickness, this self-winding movement offers a power reserve of at least 54 hours.
Finally, the Girard Perregaux Laureato watch comes with a sapphire crystal case and caseback, and features a steel bracelet with a polished and satin finish.
