The premium airport for luxury travel aims to provide guests with an unrivalled travel experience through this new partnership with BMW UK
Farnborough Airport, the premium destination for luxury air travel, has partnered with BMW UK with the aim to elevate guests’ air travel experience over a four week period as part of their brand partnership program.
As part of this partnership, three BMW’s all-electric i7 will join the airport’s existing fleet of electric vehicles and will chauffeur guests to and from their aircraft. The BMW i7 will also take centre stage when guests approach the airport terminal, which is conveniently located at about an hour’s drive from London.
The BMW i7 is the first fully electric BMW 7 Series and boasts a completely new interior. It also features an ultra-wide 32:9 8K rear-passenger theatre screen. With this new collaboration, Farnborough Airport hopes that it will elevate their customer service even further, and provide guests with a luxurious premium air travel experience. Beyond this new partnership, the airport also has spacious lounges, five-star service, meeting rooms and a specialised pet travel program.
Farnborough Airport is also committed to sustainability as it is the first business aviation airport to achieve carbon neutrality.
Speaking about this partnership, Simon Geere, CEO of Farnborough Airport said that he hopes this move highlights their commitment to innovation.“We are delighted to be partnering with BMW to elevate the travel experience at Farnborough Airport. The collaboration with BMW and the showcase of their all-electric i7 not only reflects our dedication to providing a unique guest experience, but it also highlights our commitment to innovation,” he said.
Echoing similar sentiments, James Morrison, head of business development at BMW added that he is excited to hear the feedback of all the guests who will be part of this experience.
“We are thrilled to partner with Farnborough Airport, to further enhance their unique passenger experience…and we can’t wait to hear feedback from Farnborough Airport passengers in the coming weeks,” he said.
