Sofia Coppola and Elle Fanning Roku Gin CampaignSofia Coppola has directed critically acclaimed films like Marie Antoinette, Virgin Suicides and Priscilla. This time, the celebrated director has set her sights on House of Suntory’s Roku Gin by taking on the role of creative director. Now, she has joined forces with actress and longtime friend Elle Fanning to launch a brand new campaign for the brand.

Roku Gin is an articulation of the Japanese concept of shun — the moment when nature is at its peak in vibrancy and vitality. The campaign, titled ‘Come Alive with the Seasons’, is designed to invite gin drinkers to experience the best of every season.

Distilled in Japan, Roku features a blend of fresh and floral flavours. The gin’s flavour profile is achieved by balancing six Japanese botanicals — sakura flower, sakura leaf, sencha tea, gyokuro tea, sansho pepper, and yuzu peel — with eight traditional gin botanicals.Sofia Coppola’s latest Roku campaign with Elle Fanning, which blends Japan’s nature with its traditions and culture, continues her partnership with the brand, which began last year to celebrate the centenary of the House of Suntory.
