From 18 to 24 May, the streets of Chelsea will be transformed into an intergalactic wonderland of floral designs promising inspiration from ‘spiritual symbolism and astrology’.

This year, over 125 participating brands including Lululemon, Trinny London, Space NK, RIXO and more will present floral displays inspired by space travel and astrology.

For 2026, six large scale floral installations will be created and spread out across the area in key locations.

Some of the creations on display include a zodiac-inspired constellation at Sloane Square, a UFO hovering over Pavilion Road, a lunar-landscape at Duke of York Square and a 4m mythical dragon and pegasus on Sloane Street. The star of the show, however, will be a large floral globe that can be seen from space at King’s Road, which will be installed in honour of Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday this May.

In 2025, the theme was ‘Flowers in Fashion’ which took inspiration from iconic fashion movements, style icons and muses, honouring Chelsea’s legacy as one of the world’s most stylish destinations. Some stand out installations from last year’s edition were some giant yellow Wellington boots, a 4m tall punk head and a floral sewing machine.

Every year, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show brings together experts and enthusiasts in the world of horticulture for one of the most prestigious garden shows in the country. Born from the Royal Horticultural Society’s Great Spring Show in 1862, the festival has been held in its current form in the Royal Chelsea Hospital Grounds since 1912.
