Chaumet unveils new precious jewellery line as it re-opens its Bond Street store

After a lengthy renovation, the famed Maison is back with a bang – and a stunning new line of works
After an extensive refurbishment earlier this year, iconic French jeweller Chaumet re-opened its flagship UK store on London's Bond Street last month, bringing with it a stunning new collection of precious pieces.
The new line, dubbed the Torsade de Chaumet High Jewellery collection, celebrates the renovation of the hôtel particulier at 12 Vendôme; the legendary Parisien square on which Chaumet was the first jeweller to open in 1812.
The virtuoso creations of the collection are inspired by the sweep of the frieze wrapping the Vendôme Column to offer a modern revisiting and fresh energising of the twist (torsade in French).
The Maison describes the pieces as "an ode to life and its perpetual sense of change", and "an illustration of how to capture a moment in time with gold and gemstones".
The brand has also announced that September 2021 will see the release of what it describes as its "irresistibly incandescent" new Bee My Love pendant, which harnesses the naturally spare style of the honeycomb, an iconic Chaumet motif.
Available in three versions – rose gold, rose gold punctuated with six diamonds or white gold sprinkled with six diamonds – the piece will illuminate the neckline with solar warmth. It is composed of three bands joined together and mounted on a delicate gold chain.
