Luxury brand Bulgari has partnered with Watches of Switzerland to unveil two new timepieces for their 100 year anniversary
Luxury fashion house Bulgari has announced an exclusive partnership with Watches of Switzerland by unveiling two brand new limited edition timepieces for the latter’s 100 year anniversary: the Serpenti Seduttori and the Octo Roma Automatic.
The Serpenti Seduttori marks the continuation of Bulgari’s tradition as a Roman jeweller, with a lapis lazuli dial encased in a steel set with 38 diamonds. A cabochon-cut gemstone crowns this piece, with a custom engraving of ‘Watches of Switzerland 1924 – 2024’ personalised on each watch.
The Octo Roma Automatic timepiece comes in a monochromatic dark blue, with its octagonal silhouette a nod to the historic designs found in the Pantheon and in the works of Leonardo da Vinci. Its dark blue Clous de Paris dial sits under indexes coated with SuperLuminova technology, so that customers can check the time at any hour. This is paired with a dark navy alligator strap. Each edition is restricted to only 30 pieces and will only be available through the Watches of Switzerland showrooms from 1 May.
Craig Bolton, the president of Watches of Switzerland Group UK & Europe, expressed his delight at the newest launch to celebrate their 100th anniversary.
“I am thrilled to share with our clients two centenary exclusives in collaboration with Bulgari. The two timepieces have been chosen from iconic collections each with a unique twist; the Serpenti Seduttori features a lapis-lazuli dial and Octo Roma Automatic Steel in a stunning dark blue monochrome,” said Craig.“[These] combinations have not previously been available, each limited to just 30 pieces with special Watches of Switzerland engraving on the back of the case. We look forward to welcoming clients to our showrooms to experience these special timepieces,” he added.
Watches of Switzerland have also collaborated with Girard-Perregaux, among many other luxury watchmaking brands, for their 100th anniversary celebrations.
