The luxury interior design firm m2atelier has designed the new Grande Trideck superyacht by Azimut – the first in a series of three yachts
Azimut, the luxury superyacht company, has unveiled its new Grande Trideck superyacht with interior design by Milan-based architecture and design studio m2atelier. This collaboration marks the start of a new chapter for Azimut’s Grande series, and features m2atelier’s informal yet sophisticated ‘barefoot luxury’ design concept.
The interior emphasises on an open layout, transformative spaces and clean geometry, with horizontal and vertical lines giving you an expanded sense of space. One of the stand-out features of the superyacht is an ‘unveiling wall’, which is a motorised panel of vertical wood slats that conceals a hidden television via a custom sliding mechanism.
Framed by a two-layer ceiling and expansive glass windows that offer panoramic views of the sea or ocean before you, the unveiling wall blends in with the rest of the design, elevating the space with openness and artistry.

There is floor-to-ceiling glazing in all the guest spaces, adding a layer of openness and light while also keeping guests connected to the sea beyond them. The yacht’s Sky Lounge features a comfortable and informal lounge. Light fabric ceiling panels appear to float above, evoking the relaxed vibe of a veranda and blurring the boundaries between indoors and out.
There is custom furniture designed by m2aterlier throughout the vessel, providing a stylistic continuity throughout.
In the owner’s suite, there are layered partitions that enhance the perspective with invisible doors, manifesting a sense of spaciousness and allowing light to flow uninterrupted through the suite. There is also a recessed foredeck pool, offering a refreshing pause while also providing a sense of privacy.
Speaking about the designs, m2atelier co-founder Marco Bonelli emphasised how light played an integral role in the designs for the yacht.

On the Grande Trideck, light becomes architecture,” explains Marco.
“With the Grande Trideck, we are proud to unveil a new yacht interior for Azimut that reimagines onboard living through our lens of ‘barefoot luxury’. It’s the beginning of a bold and beautiful new chapter,” added co-founder Marijana Radovic.
The Grande Trideck is the first of three new models in Azimut’s redesigned Grande series, with two more yachts scheduled to debut at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. These launches will be followed by Azimut’s most ambitious superyacht to date: the 44M, the new flagship of the fleet, which is slated for delivery in 2026.
