The Diwali Reverie collection by Zara Muse is a celebration of light, heritage and emotional transformation and is currently on display at Fairmont Windsor Park

Zara Muse diwaliAcclaimed contemporary artist Zara Muse has unveiled her latest collection, the Diwali Reverie, at the Fairmont Windsor Park, where some of her other signature textured works are already housed.

The collection marks a poignant exploration of cultural symbolism, transformation, and light inspired by Zara’s recent journey through India. Zara, who used to be a trader, now works as a full-time artist, and creates deeply expressive, three-dimensional pieces using only palette knives and spatulas.

Each piece in the series represents a dialogue between British contemporary expression and Indian artistic heritage – an exploration of unity, emotion, and transcendence through bold colour and sculptural form.

The Diwali Reverie collection embodies these motifs, capturing the radiance and optimism associated with the Festival of Lights.

Speaking about the collection, Zara explained how the core theme of Diwali – light over darkness – spoke to her personally.

“What began as a personal act of healing evolved into something much greater, a way to connect emotion and energy through texture,” says Zara. “India’s vibrancy and the spirit of Diwali – the triumph of light over darkness – resonated deeply with me. Diwali Reverie is my tribute to that feeling of renewal and shared humanity.”
